Aqua is a series of functional glass products inspired by water in all its forms, structure and color variations. The sense of water is enhanced by droplets and wave patterns and the use of colors in variations of blue and green. Accents in cork deepens the connection to lakes and ocean. Aqua is a beautiful line created in mouth blown glass that is meant for everyday use.
About Björn Nilsson
Björn Nilsson was educated at the HDK School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg, and has a wealth of experience in the design industry. This includes being employed for many years as Head of Design for the Swedish wall covering company, Eco Boråstapeter AB. Today, he works as a freelance designer/design consultant in mediums including wallpaper, textiles, glass and ceramics. Work as a stylist and scenographer can also be added to his list of talents. According to Björn, “Design is not a job; it’s a way of life”.
